April 8, 2010 meeting was attended by:

M. Kameron Hawkins - Ocotillo Chamber of Commerce, LLC (Chamber Chairman)

For the next quarter (April, May, June) what are our goals: 

• We are going to continue to grow our weekly meetings at the Ocotillo Golf Resort every Thursday morning at 7:15 A.M. 
• Our monthly golf events we are going to continue to promote and grow with the help of www.NetworkingGolfEvents.com and Golfsmith International.
• We are focusing on monthly ribbon cutting and or anniversaries to promote businesses in Ocotillo that are members of the Chamber of Commerce.
• We discussed having our monthly mixer after the golf event on the third Tuesday of the month  at 5:00 P.M at the Ocotillo Golf Resort.  It was felt by the group that was a better time to do a mixer than a separate outing. 
• Volunteer Greeters are need for our meetings and events.  Adriana Durfee and Betty Dupuis volunteers to be greeters for the golf event on April 20th. 

We have the Business Expo and Job Fair coming up in September 19th.  Andrew Szmuc with Desert River Solutions, LLC is already signed up with his tradebooth. 

There was discussion about how we could get business information to other new businesses in the Ocotillo area.  M Kameron Hawkins - Chamber Chairman suggested three ways it could be done:

1.  Individual Businesses can be sponsors
2.  Cooperative Business effort
3.  Out Reach Committee

This is open for further discussion in May's Mentor Committee Meeting. 

If you would like to be a part of the Mentor Committee please mark your calendar for the second Thursday of the month after the Chamber Breakfast meeting.
