Wanting to create a fun and inviting atmosphere mixing the new with the old, Brad Lefebvre owner of CrossWoods Indoor Golf, had a vision of creating a venue where everyone from families to business people can gather to enjoy the classic ambience of a country club and the new cutting edge technology of Indoor Golf Simulators. CrossWoods Indoor Golf has 2 locations in the east valley that have been open since the spring of 2007, but Lefebvre wanted to add space for non-golfers to enjoy the same environment, so he created "The Tavern at CrossWoods". The fun, interactive restaurant and sports bar is only offered at the Chandler CrossWoods location for now. The new concept will be implemented at the Gilbert location later this year.
All of the items on the Tavern's menu are under $10 and include fun favorites like the "Putter Pastrami Sand Wedge" and the "Cart House Chef Salad" as well as beer and wine.
"It's been exciting to watch this come together, we've created a great atmosphere for an easy lunch with friends to an affordable corporate outing" says Operations Manager, Jim Rigney, "The Tavern's events calendar will also include things like live music and wine, beer & cigar tastings". CrossWoods Indoor Golf is the only venue of its type in the state. You've got to see it! CrossWoods offers a meeting place, golf, food & entertainment all under one roof with a Country Club look and feel. CrossWoods offers the latest in golf simulator technology featuring over 35 courses and multiple practice venues for optimal game improvement. Golfers young and old, from beginners to the Scratch golfer can test their skills on world-class courses, including Pebble Beach, Spyglass Hill and St. Andrews, watch their favorite sports team on big screen HDTVs and enjoy a pizza and a glass of wine all at the same time. Golfers use their own balls & clubs or rental clubs are available. CrossWoods also has leagues and tournaments.
It’s never too hot, too dark or too expensive to play Golf at CrossWoods. "It's a great place for date night, family night, social outing to watch the game, a private party or a corporate outing," says Brad Lefebvre "We also offer have Golf Professionals on staff to give lessons and club fittings".
